Summary

Experience the fiery passion of a full symphony orchestra in this barn burner opening concert. Pianist Dominic Cheli joins the Orchestra for Sergei Rachmaninoff’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3, called by many the most difficult piece ever written for piano. Known for her “fierce and lyrical” playing (The Strad), award-winning composer Jessica Meyer’s newly commissioned piece opens the concert. You don’t want to miss this world-premiere event. Jean Sibelius’ majestic Fifth Symphony rounds out the program and will leave you feeling triumphant.

Program

JESSICA MEYER – Turbulent Flames
