Concert Ushers
Do you want to serve your community AND see a free concert? Become a concert usher for Auburn Symphony Orchestra today!
Auburn Symphony Orchestra Concert Usher duties include:
Greeting ASO patrons in a friendly manner
Scanning tickets at entry
Handing out programs
Helping ASO patrons find their seats safely and efficiently
Answering questions from patrons about bathroom location, program length, etc
Monitoring patrons during concert for distracting or prohibited behavior such as use of cell phones
ASO Concert Ushers commit to:
Upholding a positive and friendly attitude.
Ushering at at least three out of the four concerts at Auburn Performing Arts Center
Attending a 30 minute orientation in September 2024 via Zoom
Arriving no later than 90 minutes before concert start time
ASO Concert Usher Dress Code:
All black clothing OR black pants/skirt and white top. No sleeveless tops, jeans, or bottoms above the knee.
Black, close-toed shoes
ASO Concert Usher badge will be provided
The Perks: You get to attend the concert for free! If you are a student in need of community service hours, you can receive four hours of community service per concert.
